And so it was that Cowbells' final game of the tournament, before the playoffs, would happen against the Soldiers. The Soldiers had strong defense, but the Cowbells were convinced their offense would power them through. Additionally, the Soldiers consisted of veterans who were now working in District D. The game took place on January 5th, on an unseasonably warm day. ESN again broadcast their game as the crowd of 1,000 took their seats.
---At the half---
The score was 9-7, Cowbells. Both teams had a talk in the split locker room.
"All right, team." Said the Cowbells' coach. "This is our time to shine. Get out there and finish our regular bracket off with style. Don't give them an inch!"
"Team," Said the Soldiers' coach. "This is an easy one. You've shut their rushing game down; now, shut down the passing game. We need one score if I am right and we will walk out of here with the win!"

Adrian got the player of the game awards as the Cowbells pulled away from the Soldiers and won, 24-14.
