Baseball Finals, White Collar Division: Garters at Lobsters, Game #1

It was time for the finals of the White Collar Divisional Baseball. The winner would be named the best team in District C. It was the Lobsters, an all-male team consisting of the owners of seafood joints around the nation, against the Garters, an all-female team consisting of the owners of fashion companies and escort companies. The stage was set. The Lobsters were the home team in the game.

There would be only one break today, at the 7th inning, a break in tradition to be sure.

In the top of the first, the Garters struck first, scoring a run off a triple by Christina and making it 1-0. In the bottom of the 1st, the Lobsters struck back with a homerun by Adrian, making it 2-1 Lobsters. In the bottom of the 3rd, David hit a sac fly to drive in another run, making it 3-1 Lobsters. In the bottom of the 5th, a rain delay was called. Play resumed after 61 minutes. The rain delay chased out the Garters' pitcher, Trinity. She was replaced by Danielle. The rain also chased out the Lobsters' starting pitcher, Jon. He was replaced by Matt. After 2 innings of work, Matt was replaced by Scott.

In the top of the 7th, scoring resumed. Geraldine singled in two runners to tie the game at 3. Scott was chased from the game and replaced by Bobby.

The game remained tied until the bottom the 10th, when Cody homered to end the game, 5-3, Lobsters.

The winning pitcher was Andrew, who goes to 1-0 on the postseason. The losing pitcher was Jessica, who goes to 1-1 on the postseason. There was no save. The player of the game was Adrian.
